We offer 2 different options to reach Venice city and other destinations from Marco Polo Airport.

1. COMBINED SERVICE: DIRECT CAR to Piazzale Roma + WATER TAXI to your destination
   This option is currently on promotion and is the most economical and convenient: a driver will welcome you at the arrivals exit with a sign bearing your name and take you by private car to Piazzale Roma, the last and most convenient connection point between land and water. Here, one of our boats will already be booked for you, ready to take you to your destination in the city.
2. TAXI DIRECT from the airport to Venice or other destinations reachable by water.
   The water taxi will be waiting for you at the dock. To reach it, follow the light-blue “Water Transport” signs to the 1st floor of the Terminal. There you will find the Moving Walkway, an elevated pedestrian path with travelators, which will lead you to the dock. The trip to the city centre takes about twenty-five minutes, and weather conditions may affect the journey. For this reason, we suggest checking the conditions explained in the relevant question.

When booking, please fill in the fields provided with your flight or train number so that we can monitor your arrival or any delays and coordinate the different transport services.

As a general rule for departures, guests should always call our 24/7 switchboard 15 minutes in advance to find out the boat number and the name of the driver: +39 041 3032889

Should you experience any inconvenience or delay, please contact us as soon as possible to reschedule the service at no additional cost. In case of delay, the first 10 minutes of waiting are free; after that, every additional 10 minutes will be charged at 10€
For NO SHOW or last-minute cancellation, the full cost will be charged.

Each boat carries up to 4 people and 6 pieces of luggage, maximum 10 items in total.

Extra passengers can be added, up to a maximum of 8 people. As a general rule, we allow 2 more pieces of luggage than the number of passengers

Please note that a night rate applies from 22:00 to 07:00.

A surcharge applies for hotels located on the inner canals.
This is due to heavier traffic from gondolas and private boats, which adds considerable time to the journey.
If you are unsure of your hotel’s exact location, please email the office to check, or ask the boat driver directly, who will be able to tell you about any additional charge.

We are also pleased to inform you that every ride can be customised. Should you wish to make more than one detour along a standard route, please email book@vlslimousine.com to find out the price of the detour, so that we can inform the drivers of your request.

In adverse weather conditions such as strong winds; fog; rough seas; municipal ordinances and other causes, the service is guaranteed in the COMBINED CAR via Piazzale Roma + WATER TAXI mode (or vice versa), because for the safety of both passengers and boats we do not sail to and from the airport. Please note that no discounts will be applied: the customer will pay the price of the service chosen at the time of the original booking, not the promotional price shown on the website for “COMBINED CAR via Piazzale Roma + TAXI”

With the Meet and Greet service, our staff will welcome you in the arrivals hall of Venice Marco Polo Airport with a sign bearing your name and will be delighted to accompany you to the private water taxi that will take you to your destination in Venice.
